Question: Your site doesn't seem to work for me. The Game never loads in my web browser!
Answer:
The game runs on a technology called "java" and your computer might not
be set up properly for this. But don't worry, its easy to fix.
First, check what version of java you have. You need 1.1.8 or higher.
For example, if you have 1.1.4, you need to upgrade. But if you have
version 1.4.2, you are fine... An easy way
to tell what version you have is click over to www.javatester.org/version.html . Once you get to this page, scroll down just a bit... Under the heading "Method #1", your java version should appear in a pink box below the words "The version and vendor from the JVM"...
If you do have Java 1.1.8 or higher, then the application should work on your machine... Just be patient and allow it to load.
If you do NOT have Java 1.1.8 or higher, then simply click to www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and then click on links either for Windows or Mac... Then when you are done, return to the version check and make sure the version is upgraded.
Question: Help! I signed up for an account on your registration page, and I never received my password!
Answer: Is it possible you entered a typo when entering your email? Try entering it again and see what happens. It's also possible that your email program automatically deleted this email as "junk". Check your junk or deleted folders. If you still didn't receive your confirmation email, then
click here.
Question: I forgot my password! How do i retrieve it?

Question:
The graphics look too big for my computer. I can't see everything on the screen!
Answer:
This site requires a resolution setting of at least 1024 x 768. Please adjust
your resolution. On a PC, this is done by going to control panel-> display->settings.
Question: I can't seem to find where to type anything to chat... I can see others chat but where do i type to chat?
Answer:
The chat bar is not displaying because the resolution is too low - see the previous question..
Question: The site loads, but it takes a long time. Why?
Answer:
If you have a slower connection speed, it may take a few minutes
for the game to load...However, once you load it once, it should load
faster the next time. Everything, including all the graphics
gets loaded in the beginning so you don't experience delays while gaming.
Question: There are too few players to play with here...
Answer:Gothic Chess is still a new game and this site is even newer. Help
us make this a cool place by bringing your friends over. IM your buddies and then surf over here
for a few games!
Question: Sometimes I can't log in... Are the servers down?
